BZA adopts 2026 meeting rules, schedule and elects officers
Summary
The Rockbridge County Board of Zoning Appeals adopted an updated Electronic Meeting Policy, kept the same officers for 2026, approved the 2026 meeting schedule and approved minutes from Nov. 18, 2025 (one abstention).
At its Feb. 18 meeting the Board approved routine administrative items: the updated Electronic Meeting Policy required annually by the Code of Virginia, the 2026 meeting schedule, and the election of officers. Mr. Vest moved to approve the Electronic Meeting Policy; Mr. Mullen seconded and the motion passed with four ayes.
The Board voted to retain Jeff Pufahl as Chair, Grigg Mullen as Vice‑Chair and Chris Slaydon as Secretary for 2026. The meeting schedule was approved by motion of Mr. Mullen. The minutes of the Nov. 18, 2025 BZA meeting were approved with Mr. Mullen abstaining because he had been absent from that meeting.
