MARBLE FALLS, Texas — The Marble Falls Independent School District board on Sept. 23 approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Marble Falls to purchase emergency generators that will be housed at Marble Falls Middle School and the district's transportation facility.
Dr. Jeff Gasaway presented the proposed agreement, saying the generators would be used during emergencies and would benefit both the district and the city. The motion to approve the interlocal agreement was made by board member Alex Payson and seconded by Gary Boshears; the board voted 7—0 in favor, 0 against, with 0 absent.
