Town Administrator Gregory Faust updated the Selectboard on several infrastructure and facility items. He said "Bristol West water line construction is progressing, and have moved from Elm Street to Taylor Street." He also reported that the Bristol East water-line project "has placed second on the lead service line list, indicating the potential for 50% forgiveness for State funding of that project."
Faust said asbestos remediation at the library is complete and PCB work is finishing, and that the town had obtained an additional $300,000+ in grant funds to complete those elements of the renovation. Faust discussed the town's bonding position, noting the town is currently under-bonded and that combining the West and East water-line projects could produce beneficial quotes, but would require State approval.
