Staff (voice 2) credited the city’s sustainability coordinator, Ali Sutherland, with the application and said the city joined about 300 communities worldwide receiving the award.
Commissioner (voice 4) noted that microgrants are now available and urged outreach to young people interested in environmental projects. Staff said targeted communications and surveys will be distributed and encouraged people to sign up for grant notifications.
