The Village of Cold Spring Historic District Review Board voted on Jan. 20, 2026, to approve an application to replace eight existing second-story wood windows at 11 Church Street with new composite/wood windows matching the existing configuration and simulated divided lights. The application included Boral casing and windowsills, with sill and weather caps proud of the siding.
Vice Chair Lauren Wallis Hall moved "To approve the application as modified." Todd Seekircher seconded the motion. The board recorded a unanimous vote of 4-0-0 to approve the proposal. The minutes note that a Certificate of Appropriateness for windows of this style had been approved in April 2022 but that the prior authorization had expired, prompting the current application.
Board members discussed trim and siding interactions when considering the new window and casing materials, and the applicant provided examples of Boral and LP siding for the board's review.
