Following a closed executive session under Texas Government Code 551.074, the board reconvened and approved Superintendent Michael Valencia’s recommendation to extend a multiyear dual‑assignment term contract for Andrew Fellows as a Certified Classroom Teacher/Coach for the 2025–26 and 2026–27 school years. The motion to approve the contract extension was made by Robert Silva, seconded by Ramon Venegas, and carried unanimously.
The board also accepted the resignation of Sara Saleem as Permian Basin Innovation Zone Director, effective Jan. 6, 2025. The motion to accept the resignation was made by Amber Selby, seconded by Crystal Marquez, and carried with all members present voting in favor.
