The Bridgton Planning Board set a public hearing for Sept. 1 and a site walk at 4:00 p.m. for Pleasant Mountain’s proposal for a 4,800-square-foot maintenance building. The board and Sebago Technics representative Bill Garish described the project footprint, driveway work, stormwater treatment (underground soil filter, riprap channels, level spreader), on-site septic test pits and a holding tank to capture meltwater and potential contaminants.
"My name is Bill Garish, from Sebago Technics," Garish said while outlining the plan and answering questions. Board members requested additional materials to support a full review: detailed grading/cut-and-fill plans, formal building elevations and materials, a noise analysis for snowcat operations, a description of how the proposed double-walled 1,000-gallon fuel tank and holding tank will be monitored and pumped, and clarification that a previously-discussed 30,000-gallon cistern has been removed from this submittal. Staff agreed to request those items and publish application materials before the September hearing.
