The Board of Trustees of the Midway Independent School District met in a special called session on Nov. 17, 2025. Secretary Pam Watts called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m.; the board considered agenda item 2A, the canvass of the Nov. 4 bond election and adoption of a Certificate of Order Canvassing a Bond Election.
Administration presented the election tally and recommended the board canvass the results and adopt the certification. A motion "to accept the results of the bond election and approve the Order Canvassing a Bond Election" was made by Trustee Colin Witt and seconded by Trustee Brad Alford. The motion carried with votes in favor by Brad Alford, Pam Watts and Colin Witt; there were no votes against and no abstentions. The minutes list Jonathan Green, Pete Rusek, Rick Tullis and Susan Vick as absent for the meeting. Secretary Watts declared the meeting adjourned at 12:03 p.m.
