Council also approved Resolution RO62641 to authorize a purchase order for a coroner’s invoice that had been delayed during the police chief transition. City Manager Elaine explained the invoice had been sent in January and that because it exceeded the city’s usual $5,000 purchase-order threshold, council action was required to authorize the payment.
