Board sets public hearing Sept. 3 for proposed 2026 operating budget

The announcement followed required procedure for budget notice and included the date, time, location and the statutory citation read into the record. No board action was taken on the budget itself at the meeting; the item served to give public notice and set the hearing date.
Members acknowledged the notice and moved on to superintendent comments.
