The Mount Vernon ISD Board of Trustees certified the meeting agenda and approved the consent agenda during its Dec. 9 regular session. Vice President Lynda Baird moved to certify the agenda; Cathy Lawrence-Robinson seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
The board then approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the Nov. 11 regular meeting and the Nov. 18 special meeting, the tax collection report and the monthly investment report. Aaron Sanders moved to approve the consent items with Leigh Anne Ramsay seconding; the motion carried 5-0. The minutes show five board members present and two absent.
