The action covered a 2008 Tracker boat (VIN#8E708), a 2008 Mercury outboard motor (VIN#514464) and a 2008 Trailstar boat trailer (VIN#001049) and set a sale/transfer price of $5,000.
Commissioner Ray Watts moved to approve Resolution 2026-14 authorizing the disposal of the equipment; Commissioner Jim Rogers seconded the motion. The minutes record votes of Mr. Watts, aye; Mr. Rogers, aye; and Chairman Beau Burlison, aye. The board later approved a separate administrative transfer of the same boat and equipment to Brushy Fire Department, again on a motion by Mr. Watts and second by Mr. Rogers with unanimous ayes. The transfer and resolution together document county authorization for the sale and assignment to the volunteer fire department.
