During the board's open-floor period, a speaker asked the county to notify the public that the state is shifting hunting and fishing licenses primarily to online sales and explained that the county license bureau (Susan at the license bureau) can still issue licenses in person for those without internet access.
"You can still get it, but you gotta come here to the license bureau," the speaker said, urging county staff to ensure the public knows of that in-person option. The presenter also asked staff to check whether federal and state stamp purchases can be made at the county office to simplify the process for residents.
Provenance: Public-floor comment about hunting and fishing license process (introduced at SEG 621; discussion through SEG 644).
