The Lake Forest Community High School District 115 Board of Education adopted resolutions honoring retiring trustees David Burns, Sally Davis and Dr. John Vinson.
The board read each resolution, citing years of service, committee leadership and contributions to student outcomes. During the adoption and public remarks, retiring trustee David Burns said, "It's been an honor and a privilege to be on the school board for these past 4 years," and reflected on progress made, including the strategic plan and referendum. Dr. John Vinson also thanked the board and described lessons learned and moments of integrity during his service.
Trustees approved the resolutions by roll call. The board entered the resolutions into the minutes and the retiring members offered brief farewell comments praising colleagues, administration and students.
