Board accepts resignation and approves hire of new professional staff
Summary

During open session on Nov. 12 the board accepted Ms. Lisa Ferguson's resignation. Trustee Jesus Tovar Jr. moved to accept the resignation and Trustee Steve Clifton seconded; the motion passed Yea: 7, Nay: 0.
The board also approved hiring Mrs. Heather Hancock as professional staff, subject to assignment. Trustee Steve Clifton moved to hire Hancock and Trustee Dusty Stone seconded; that motion also passed unanimously. The minutes note both personnel actions occurred after the board returned from closed session and were recorded in the official minutes.
