District staff provided routine campus reports during the April 14 meeting.
Band Director Mr. Brossette said the band fundraising "did not go over as planned," noted a spring concert is upcoming and said organizers will begin planning early for next year’s marching season; the band anticipates 34 beginners next year. Coach Langston reported athletics items: regional golf competition, the last district baseball and softball games, 22 students advancing to regional track, upcoming softball playoffs next week and district tennis competitions.
The board received these as informational reports; no action was required. The updates offer context for extracurricular programming and upcoming event scheduling in the district.
