The Midlothian ISD Board voted to adopt two resolutions recognizing October as National Rett Syndrome Awareness Month and October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Trustee Jessica Ward moved to approve the Rett resolution with a second from Tami Tobey; the motion passed 7-0. Trustee Tami Tobey then moved to approve the Down Syndrome resolution, seconded by Jessica Ward, and that motion also passed 7-0.
