Councilmember Lewis seconded the motion. The clerk conducted a roll-call vote with Councilmember Chavez absent; the remaining members voted yes (Lewis—yes; Perez—yes; Lamas—yes; Amabile—yes), and the council confirmed it would take action in open session as authorized.
