The board approved several recurring contracts for student support and specialized services in the 2026–27 school year, explaining these are routine, often IEP-driven placements.
Superintendent Jeff described the ABA outreach services and related agreements as continuing services often required by students' individualized education programs. He told trustees these decisions "are required by their IEP, and they do change from time to time," indicating existing placements are being continued. The board approved the KidsLink tuition agreement, agreements with Cleveland Clinic Learner School for autism (for two students), United Cerebral Palsy services, person-school agreements and adult-day transition services by roll call votes, each passing with the recorded votes.
Administrators noted that many placements reflect ongoing IEP determinations rather than one-off administrative actions; the board recorded unanimous votes on these items and will monitor placements through special-education staff.
