FC Frederick cleared to use Heritage Park for long-running scrimmage fest

Dave Shannon, representing FC Frederick, asked to use Heritage Park for a low-impact scrimmage tournament (Scrimmage Fest) that has run for many years. Shannon said the event provides free participation for GVA teams as part of a long-standing exchange that allows FC Frederick to use the fields while supporting local teams.
The board moved and approved the request. Shannon said the tournament has been run for two decades in the present format and that he is not aware of complaints; the board recorded the approval and thanked Shannon for the continued partnership.
