Board OKs homeschool soccer use of parks on Thursday afternoons through September

The board approved a request for the homeschool soccer program to use town parks on Thursdays from 2:50 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. through September for noncompetitive recreational play up to high school age. Chair (S1) read the request and members discussed prior use; GVA indicated it has approved the program and will sign any required paperwork.
A motion to accept the Holden School/homeschool soccer request was made by Commissioner (S2) and seconded; the motion passed. The board asked staff and the program to ensure required forms are completed before the activity begins and for the GBA signature to be captured on the permit.
