Administration pulls chemical waste disposal bid for further review

The Board of Trustees on Sept. 11 did not take action on the item for Comprehensive Chemical Waste Disposal Services listed under bids and purchases of $50,000 and over.
Dr. Cris Valdez asked the board to pull the item so the administration could seek additional information from entities that submitted bids. She said staff were not ready to present a recommendation and requested more time for due diligence.
The board agreed to remove the item from consideration at the meeting; administration will report back with additional information and a recommendation at a future meeting.
