The Mission CISD Board of Trustees approved most consent-agenda items Sept. 11 but pulled Item #7, the construction documents for a district fencing and facilities enhancement project, for separate consideration.
Trustee Veronica "Betty" R. Mendoza initially moved to approve Consent Agenda Items #1–15d; Trustee Jerry Zamora asked to pull Item #7 for legal consultation. The board withdrew the initial motion and then approved the consent agenda excluding Item #7. Later, after executive session and discussion, Trustee Jerry Zamora moved to table Item #7; Trustee Natividad Sosa seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Administrators will continue consultation and return with revised documents or recommendations on the fencing project for future board consideration.
