Dr. Ronnie Gonzalez presented the Operations report May 19, detailing child nutrition counts, facility work and project coordination.
Gonzalez reported the district served 23,609 breakfast meals and 46,292 lunch meals to students in April. He also updated the board on an administrative review with the Texas Department of Agriculture conducted April 23–24, summer feeding plans, monthly wastewater and AED service reporting, coordination of insurance inspections and restoration for the CTE Annex and high school chiller, and ongoing work with contractors on Bond 2024 project timelines and design of a new dance studio.
Dr. Gonzalez noted transportation staffing updates and facility maintenance activities including Rattler Stadium light repairs and plans to house Goldstar mechanics for summer bus work. Supporting documentation for operations tasks was available in Boardbook.
