Library director: circulation and foot traffic doubled since moving into new building

Diane Grenkow, library director, presented quarterly statistics for April–June and told the Select Board circulation and people-through-the-door have doubled since the library moved into its new building, and she reviewed survey responses and responsibilities for trustees, the director and the Friends group.
Grenkow said the Friends—an independent 501(c)(3)—have about $9,000 in the bank for programming and recently paid for a historic display and donor recognition flags; she also said Efficiency Vermont is assisting with building-related improvements. "Circulation and people through the door has doubled since we've been in the new building," Grenkow said during her update.
