Council to swear in Scott Miller as police chief on Aug. 10

"We have appointments of the police chief swearing in of, Scott Miller, and that is it," Council Member Johnson said. The committee confirmed there are no public hearings scheduled for that meeting and no other appointments from administration.
The Aug. 10 agenda will include a 6 p.m. roundtable with a closed session pursuant to RCW 42.30.140 for collective bargaining, followed by the 7 p.m. regular session.
