Board appoints individuals to School Guardian Plan after closed session
Summary
After an executive session Nov. 18, the Nederland ISD board voted 6–0 to appoint individuals named in closed session to the School Guardian Plan and authorized the superintendent to implement the appointments.
Following a closed session held under several Texas Government Code provisions (including §§551.071, 551.074, 551.076), the Nederland ISD board reconvened and moved to appoint the individuals named in closed session to the district’s School Guardian Plan. Vice President Micah Mosley made the motion, which Roya Scott seconded; the motion authorized the superintendent to take all necessary steps to effectuate the appointments and passed 6–0.
