Nederland ISD enrollment rises to 5,315, up 46 from last year

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Steven Beagle told the board that Nederland ISD’s total enrollment stood at 5,315 students. He noted the district is up 25 students from the previous month and 46 students from this time last year.
Beagle also reported that alternative campus enrollment has increased by four students compared with last year and that middle school students are now attending the alternative campus, a change from the prior year when that placement had not begun. The enrollment figures were presented as part of the curriculum report and will inform staffing and resource planning.
