Highland Park Elementary principal Sissy Dainwood introduced the school’s paper staff during the Nederland ISD board meeting and presented the first two volumes of the student newsletter "Bulldog Bytes." Computer teacher Sam Fontenot led the campus effort; students distributed copies and conducted brief interviews of each board member to include in a future issue.
The showcase was presented as a recognition item during the superintendent’s report. The board received the student materials and the district highlighted the student-led media project as part of campus engagement and communications work by Partners in Education.
