Navarro ISD approves consent agenda including portable plan and HVAC contract

Navarro ISD trustees approved the consent agenda at their Nov. 18 meeting, which included minutes, a budget amendment, donations (including a golf cart for transportation and support from the Geronimo Lions Club), cooperative program management fees, the portables item and an HVAC contract. Donna Gilliam moved to approve the consent agenda, Dan Reinhard seconded, and the motion passed 6-0.
Earlier in the meeting Director of Operations and Safety & Security Robby Castillo presented the district's 2025 portable plan, reporting that the district anticipates needing one new six-classroom wet portable building at the elementary campus to accommodate projected enrollment growth.
