Dr. Tracy Stone presented the district's Instruction & Learning monthly report, highlighting that the Texas Education Agency released the 2024 Annual Report and that the 2025 A'F ratings methodology will change how Industry-Based Certifications and College, Career and Military Readiness are counted.
Stone told the board that Webb Elementary and Navasota High School were selected for National Assessment of Educational Progress testing. She also described district initiatives including Family Math Week with Region 6, targeted K'5 reading and language arts interventions, after-school tutoring for grades 3—, and upcoming events such as the Grimes County Spelling Bee and Gifted & Talented testing.
