Brandon, a city official who spoke during the city officials reports, told the commission that paving is complete and that road markings and parking re‑alignment will be finished in the next few days.
"The paving is complete. We are able to start and finish within a week, which, is amazing," Brandon said, thanking the paving company and city DPW for their work. He said crews were finishing painting and would realign the parking area in front of Cornelius Corner and complete markings on Cheryl Road.
Brandon also reported that Memorial Day events had a strong turnout and thanked city employees and volunteers for their work on the parade. No formal action was taken; the update was presented for the commission’s information.
