Resident urges coyote-safety tips and local-history displays at Monte Sereno picnic

During the meeting's public-comment period, a resident who identified herself as Rachel suggested the commission distribute coyote-safety tips at the picnic and to include a 'did you know' poster or brochures about Monte Sereno's history. "We've noticed that there's actually, several coyotes that, walk around the streets here at night," she said, urging safety information for residents.
Staff responded that inviting county Vector Control or other appropriate providers to the picnic would be useful and that the city already has a history web page and an ebook that could be shared via QR code at the commission booth. Staff said they would follow up on contacting Vector Control and on producing simple handouts or QR-code links for the event.
