Superintendent Willis presented a sequence of recommended memoranda of understanding and contracts, and the board approved each item in turn. Items approved included MOUs with Learning Tree and Milestones Behavior (behavioral services), mentoring and family support MOUs (Full Moon Mentoring, United Way), and contracts for assessment and therapy providers (Glenwood, Highlands Health, Sharp Mental Health, Angle Psychometry, Hough Therapy, New Day Counseling, and individual orders for special‑education services). For each tab the superintendent recommended approval, a board member moved, another seconded, and the transcript records the chairman calling for and receiving voice votes ("Aye").
The board also approved a student transportation contract with the Alabama School for the Deaf and Blind and a recommended instructional partner contract. The approvals were recorded as motions carried by voice vote; the transcript does not provide roll‑call tallies for each approval. District staff noted that many of these contracts support special‑education, school‑based mental‑health or supplemental instructional services and are extensions of recurring annual agreements.
