The Paducah ISD Board of Trustees met in a special session on Aug. 21, 2025 for a public hearing on the proposed 2025–2026 budget and tax rate. The public meeting was called to order by President Michael LeCroy at 6:54 p.m. and attendance was recorded.
The board announced a "Public Hearing on proposed Budget and Tax Rate." The record states, "No one from the public commented on the proposed Budget and/or Tax Rate." The hearing therefore produced no public testimony or formal public objections to the draft budget or tax-rate proposal. Staff present included Business Manager Jenny Smith and Superintendent Gary Waitman. The meeting adjourned soon after the hearing when a motion to adjourn passed at 7:04 p.m.
