Paducah ISD earns B (83) in TEA A–F ratings; campus earns CCMR distinction

Superintendent Gary Waitman briefed trustees on statewide A–F accountability results for 2024–25 and how Paducah ISD performed compared with other Texas districts.
Waitman reported statewide results: "14% of districts received an A; 71% received a B or a C; 15% received a D or an F," and then stated, "Paducah ISD received a letter grade of a B (numerical grade of 83) for the 2024-2025 TEA A-F Ratings." He summarized domain scores as Student Achievement 84, School Progress 83, and Closing the Gaps 82, and noted the Paducah school campus earned a College, Career, and Military Readiness distinction.
Waitman said more detailed, TEA-required documentation will be provided by Principal Mandy Moore in September. Trustees received the summary as informational; no policy change was proposed at the meeting.
