Clay, the county roads presenter, said the paved crew is working in Lakeview Canyon and on the old Greensport Road, with additional work on Dogwood Lane and a shift to tar‑and‑gravel once the warm season begins.
"Kelly Creek Road project, getting it ready for the federal fund funded, project that's supposed to be let in September," Clay said, describing the schedule and next steps. He told commissioners a recommendation for a base crew leader will be brought on Tuesday and that a Road Worker I position is posted to the public.
The presenter estimated staffing is lean and asked commissioners to publicize the job posting. Commissioners thanked Clay for the report and signaled they would set more detailed staff items on the next regular agenda for further action.
