The board approved on consent a consultant contract to provide special education evaluations for students who are residents of District 67 but attend private schools.
Dr. Montgomery explained the district used an outside consultant for approximately 25 evaluations this year to meet the obligation to evaluate private-school resident students; the administration recommended continuing that consultant next school year. The contract was part of the consent agenda (items 1–10) and passed on roll call.
