Federal grants steered to 19th Street Complete Street project; city emphasizes match to secure awards

She warned that failing to show available match could disqualify the city for future federal awards, so staff are carrying engineering and match dollars forward to protect eligibility. The board discussed timelines and whether separate development would be delayed; staff said construction timelines and right‑of‑way acquisitions will be staged over multiple years.
