Peaster Administration Building — After returning from closed session the Peaster ISD board addressed requested relief from Ms. Cunningham in a Level 3 DGBA appeal. Vice President Jacob Bashore moved that the board find the first requested remedy moot; rule the second requested remedy granted in part and denied in part, specifically denying the request to file a report with the State Board for Educator Certification related to alleged violations of the Educators Code of Ethics and Texas Education Code Chapter 37; and grant the third requested remedy in accordance with board policy. The board adopted that disposition in open session.
Vice President Bashore also moved that the board authorize board officers and board counsel to take action as discussed in closed session and as authorized by board policy. That authorization was adopted by the board in the same sequence of motions recorded in the meeting minutes.
