Peaster High students place at FCCLA state conference; one national qualifier

Peaster High School representatives reported several placings at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference during the April 24 meeting of the Peaster ISD Board. Dr. Kendra Pittman and school staff recognized individual and team results, including Avery Frederick qualifying for nationals in Leadership and the Chapter in Review team (Rian Pyle, Jadyn Wrona, Lydia Phillips) placing third.
Other results announced included Jada Davis and Katie Sears finishing fourth in Promote & Publicize, Paige Brewton competing in Job Interview, Emma Henry and Ivy Walls competing in Interior Design, and a Chapter Service Project team featuring Katelynn Boliver, Stephanie Velazquez, and Makayla Wright. Board members commended the students for representing the district at statewide competition.
