The Paris ISD Board of Trustees approved a consent agenda of routine business items during its June 16 meeting.
Items approved as part of the consent agenda included the May 23, 2025, minutes; Lamar County Head Start Policy Council minutes and monthly activity summary; an application for a low-attendance waiver; district participation in auctions for surplus equipment; a board resolution reviewing the investment program and a resolution approving independent sources of instruction relating to investment responsibilities; a Memorandum of Understanding for 2025–26 dual-credit instruction partnered with Paris Junior College; and extension of dumpster service. Trustee Terry Davis moved to approve the consent agenda, Trustee Aubrey Gibbs seconded, and the motion carried unanimously, 6-0.
Approvals on the consent agenda bundle routine business so the board can act on multiple items with a single vote. The minutes do not provide line-item financial details for the items approved; those specifics are maintained in district records and departmental files.
