Paris ISD selects BCBS and agrees to pay employee-only premiums for 2025–26

The Paris ISD Board of Trustees voted on May 23, 2025 to select Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) as the district’s employee medical insurance provider effective September 1, 2025. The motion to select BCBS was moved by Cliff Kerby and seconded by Aubrey Gibbs and carried unanimously, 6–0.
In a related motion, the board approved the district’s contribution toward employee premiums for the 2025–2026 plan year: the district will cover 100% of the employee-only premium cost for the BCBS 5K plan. That motion was moved by Cliff Kerby and seconded by Terry Davis and was approved unanimously. The actions were recorded in the official minutes and will take effect with the plan start date in September 2025.
