Pampa ISD reviews HB3 five-year goals for early literacy, math and CCMR

District staff reviewed House Bill 3 requirements and campus targets for early childhood literacy and math and College, Career and Military Readiness, presenting STAAR and Pre-K–3 accountability data and five-year goals aligned to campus plans.
At the Feb. 24 meeting Abby Hancock briefed trustees on House Bill 3'related requirements that school districts adopt five-year goals for early childhood literacy, early math proficiency and College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR).
Mrs. Hancock reviewed campus goals and targets, STAAR results and progress from 2017 to the present and presented accountability data for Pre-K through third grade. Pampa High School Principal Clay Jones reviewed district and campus CCMR goals and the percent of graduates meeting CCMR criteria over the past five years. Trustees received the presentations but the minutes do not record additional board action on HB3 goals during this meeting.
