District facilities update: demo underway, ovens and scoreboard work underway, wall stabilization estimated at $50,000

Hugh Piatt provided a facilities update at the Feb. 24 Pampa ISD board meeting, listing several campus projects and timelines. He said the scoreboard subwoofer has been installed, demolition at Pampa High School has begun and is on schedule, a traffic workflow plan at Travis is in finalization, and new ovens are being installed at all elementary campuses and Pampa Junior High.
Mr. Piatt told trustees the PHS southside wall will be stabilized by Shriver Megert at an approximate cost of $50,000. He also confirmed that the reroofing and HVAC projects approved via the GMP will begin in April and are expected to be completed by November 2025. The board did not record additional budget action for the wall stabilization in the minutes.
