Pewitt CISD recognizes volleyball players, hears FFA presentation and reviews enrollment

The Nov. 18 Pewitt CISD board meeting opened with recognitions for varsity volleyball players Audrey Green, Avery Perry, Gillian Lum, Darriyah Thomas, McKensi Jackson and Gloria Pureco, who received certificates for outstanding performance.
Junior High FFA students Halle McCoy, Brooklyn LeRoy, Bow Strickland and Evie McCoy presented their Public Relations Project to the board. Administration reported district enrollment of 849 students and a 94.87% attendance rate. The board also reviewed upcoming items including band Christmas concerts on Dec. 5, NTSBA dinners, superintendent evaluation training in January and a ham delivery scheduled for Dec. 19; the meeting adjourned at 9:06 p.m.
