The Perryton ISD Board ordered a uniform election for May 2, 2026 to fill two at-large positions on the board of trustees. Trustees set early voting weekdays for April 20–28, 2026 and identified the Perryton ISD Administration Office and City Hall as early-voting locations per the joint agreement. Voting on Election Day for both the city and the district will take place at Perry Memorial Library, 22 S.E. 5th Ave.
The board also approved a resolution authorizing a joint election agreement with the City of Perryton that lays out separate ballots for each entity, separate early voting arrangements and responsibilities for ordering and canvassing each jurisdiction's results. The motion to order the election was made by Trustee Noon Vela and the joint-agreement resolution was approved by motion of Trustee Jeff Schollenbarger.
