Resident tells Brightwaters board he found large knife by bus stop; desk officer advised disposal

"I called the precinct...She saw some black 90 in the sun, and it was a huge 10 inch chef's knife," Jeffrey said, explaining he thought the desk officer's disposal advice was "a little bit odd." The mayor thanked Jeffrey and encouraged residents to report safety hazards so the village and police can follow up.
