At the Jan. 21 meeting, administrators and students presented Board Member Appreciation to the trustees. Tammy Kuykendall shared staff and student statements; trustees were presented with certificates, gifts from Scratch Kitchen, posters in the boardroom, and student-created portraits.
Trustees also used the meeting to share brief community updates: Mike Dillow encouraged attendance at the Ft. Worth Stock Show for student participants; Ryan Timm and Gary Vineyard thanked staff for recognition gifts; Tami Tobey and Richard Peña commended coaches and athletes; and Jessica Ward reminded the public about a Mock Interviews event at the MILE on Jan. 24. Ed Harrison gave the invocation to open the meeting.
These items were presented under recognitions and the "Trustee Good Things" portion of the agenda and required no board action.
