Town staff: APFO for roads approved; traffic impact manual to follow

Director Dooley reported that the Town Council approved second reading of the APFO for roads on April 28 and that the ordinance will go into effect August 12. Dooley said staff is working with a traffic engineer to develop a traffic impact study manual to implement the ordinance and expects that guidance to be ready by September.
"That ordinance will now go into effect on August 12," Dooley told the commission, and he said the manual should provide clarity and uniform procedures for developers and property owners required to produce traffic studies. Dooley also updated the commission on progress toward a water conservation ordinance and upcoming subcommittee meetings.
